Hi all. I was getting so enthrolled with all the blogs I have been reading and thought I needed to get started with mine. It would be a good way for me to document what I have been working on and how things are progressing here in lala land. I am hope to put pictures up of life around here and I hope to post something today to show you the wild life that I see out my window every day!

About 21 years ago, I asked God to finally 'fix' me so I would fit in with other Christian women I knew. The next thing I knew I was homeschooling. I have always been a little bit different from the crowd. I have sewn most of my life even when I was a programmer (that raised eyebrows). Because of my mom's influence, I always had some sort of crafty thing going on even when I was a teen but never what the rest of the crowd did. I have been knitting steadily for about 8 years and spinning for about 7 years. I do both best when I listen to music but not to mellow christian, but that's ok, I know I don't have to fit in with the rest of the gang to have fun.
