My socks in the works

I have just knitted plain socks so I am trying out a new pattern. I am working on a different heel and I am not sure I like it. If anyone has suggestions, let me know.

I am attempting to be more diligent with the blog since I keep reading everyone else's.

Here is a picture of me and my LOVELY BLIND DATE. As you can see, I am seated comfortably in my Living Room (with a not so lovely white bare spot on the wall, but I will get to that eventually). I figure that if I post my picture, some of the rest of you can get brave and at least give a glimpse of our fellow partners in Fiber.

Now isn't this sight scary? Yep, this is just a small bit of the wild life I am surrounded with! These are my youngest two, Ben and Katie. Katie might look like an angel, but she uses that to her advantage. Ben is the sweetest boy you could ever have!

The Beginning

Hi all. I was getting so enthrolled with all the blogs I have been reading and thought I needed to get started with mine. It would be a good way for me to document what I have been working on and how things are progressing here in lala land. I am hope to put pictures up of life around here and I hope to post something today to show you the wild life that I see out my window every day!
